Our vision

Where every heart finds a home!

Zion Church is a Ukrainian-American, Christ-centered community where generations and cultures worship together in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Our story

From a few families to a growing church family.

Zion Church officially opened its doors in the winter of 2021. What began as a small gathering of just a few families has grown into a vibrant community of believers. From our humble beginnings, we have witnessed God’s faithfulness as He has blessed us with steady growth and strengthened us through His Spirit.

At our foundation, our roots lie within the Slavic church. We consist mainly of individuals who are either immigrants, children of immigrants from the former Soviet Union—especially Ukraine—or those who came here as kids and grew up to become Americans.

At Zion Church, we have cultivated a family-like culture where fellowship and building meaningful relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that the church is not just people in one building, but a place where people can belong, grow, and serve together in love and unity.

Our mission

Encounter Jesus. Belong deeply. Live on mission.

The mission of Zion Church is to be a church where people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences encounter Jesus Christ through authentic relationships, meaningful worship, and compassionate outreach. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

We are committed to cultivating a culture of belonging—a place where lives are transformed by God’s love. Through the power of the gospel, we seek to empower individuals to serve one another and the world around them, shining the light of Christ in our community and beyond. Whether you’re seeking a fresh start, a place to deepen your faith, or a community to call home, Zion Church is here to walk alongside you on your journey of faith.

What we believe

Faith with a firm foundation.

These core truths summarize our Statement of Faith and align with the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.

01

The Bible

We believe the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired, infallible in their original manuscripts, and the ultimate authority for faith and practice.

02

God & Creation

We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created and sustains all things. Creation displays His glory, wisdom, and power.

03

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human. He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose again, ascended to heaven, and will return.

04

Humanity & Salvation

All people have sinned and need reconciliation with God. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

05

The Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers believers for ministry and is accompanied by speaking in tongues. The Spirit gives gifts and leads us in lifelong sanctification.

06

The Church & Mission

The Church is called to fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism, discipleship, and service. We affirm the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.
